Hey Guys,

Happy Thursday! In today’s post I’m going to be talking about how to deal with those annoying puffy eyes. I have the worst puffy eyes! Mainly because I have big eyes I guess, and to be honest I just don’t sleep enough. This is something I’m working on.

Recently, I’ve been reading up on tips on how to reduce those puffy eyes, after those late nights and fatigue. Obviously there are the basic methods such as sleep, cucumber and so on, as well as beauty products available too! So here are my basic tips, which have genuinely helped.

Tips

  • Sleep – This is the most obvious and actually the best tip! This is a preventable method to puffy eyes, and obviously the most natural. Having one too many late nights starts to age your skin, because the skin becomes yellowish or brownish, and the lack of sleep later leads to dark circles, fine lines and puffy eyes. So basically, lack of sleep ages your skin.
  • Cucumber – Is known for it’s skin lightening properties, and is commonly used to lighten the dark circles under your eyes. It’s also good for getting rid of wrinkles, just rub on the problem area, as it contains a chemical called phytochemical, which causes the  collagen in the skin to tighten! Puffiness is reduced due to the ascorbic and caffeic acids, reduce water retention in the eyes. So sooth those eyes with some cucumber!
  • Eye Creams – So far my go to product is the Vitamin E Eyes Cube from the Body Shop. If you read back on my post ‘Skin Care Secrets with Farfetch’, I mention how I love this product. It’s simple and affordable, and really moisturising to your skin (especially if you’re someone who suffers from dry skin). As well as containing vitamin E, it also contains wheatgerm oil which known for it’s regenerative properties. This eye cube will revive the look of tired eyes.
  • Eye Gels – This is something I’ve tried out recently, and these work like a dream. The eye gels I used are the Skin Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels. I love these as it works in just 10 mins. These reduce the sign of premature aging, by firming and de-puffing the eyes. They are cool and soothing to the eye area, and gentle too. So give this a try!

Thank you guys for taking the time to read today’s post, let me know your thoughts, or if you have any good tips to share! Don’t forget to follow me on Bloglovin, and share the love by commenting and sharing.

Until the next post!
