It’s been a while, I know I haven’t been posting. Life got really busy in February especially with work, events and life in general. But I’m back! This is also my second ever style post, featuring my favorite black bird feathered jacket! More of these posts are to come, especially as I’m now starting to shoot regularly.
This look was actually from day 3 of London Fashion Week, rocking this amazing black feather jacket from Top Shop. I suddenly have a thing for black feathers and I have been wearing this jacket for every possible occasion.
The weekend I shot this look, it was so busy and hectic with Fashion Week and work. I kicked off Fashion Week with the bloggers breakfast at Kurt Geiger. It was such a good event, which also turned into a bit of a reunion with other blogger friends. It was good catching up with people I haven’t seen or spoken to in a while during the fashion weekend. I spent the day shooting in Notting Hill, followed by lunch before going to the Éthologie show by Jasper Garvida with Jess at Look What I Got and Bunmi.
This bird feathered coat was inspired by a friend Elaine and I met at STK, I was so glad to find that it was still in stock. I walked out of Top Shop with two fur coats that day! The jeans are my standard go to everyday Joni Jeans from Top Shop, they are slim fit and easy to wear with anything. The ones I’m wearing in this post are an off black, but not quite grey colour. Thought I’d add that disclaimer in case anyone thought they were washed out haha! The top is from a brand called Adolescent Clothing, which I initially discovered on ASOS, but I’ve recently discovered their site which has a wide range of slogan t-shirts if that’s your thing, check it out.
I’m not exactly sure of what my style is, but I do like to dress up casual clothing, and dress down smart or going out. You may notice this to be a theme on the blog. but I will keep more of these posts coming…so keep your eye peeled!
